How early? Not too bad, 5 AM. I was going to the gym when I saw really interesting clouds in the still dark sky. So a short delay to get my camera and tripod to do some night photography. Then I turned the camera toward a black section of sky just to see what I'd see. 30 second exposure and here's the result.
First of all - look at those stars! And the colors! I see blue, violet, red, orange and yellow (and white). And look above the tree. What do you see? A faint dead straight line segment. It's not a plane (there's a plane on part of the original image that I cropped out and it's WAY brighter and you see the regular pulses of the lights). My speculation is that it's a satellite, or "orbiting body" to be more fancy pants. Doesn't show up on later pics of the same area of sky, which makes sense.
