I'm calling hoax on this.
Woke this morning to a doomsday announcement for the West Coast. Huge "explosion" of carbon monoxide across the entire coast. Levels of 40,000 ppm where 150 ppm is the norm. Levels that will impair breathing and could actually cause death. AND huge levels of CO are a precursor to a big earthquake in the next few days. BIG earthquake.
Well now. That's interesting. Do I believe it? Well, one this we've been searching for years for is a reliable warning for earthquakes. And that's what this is? How come I've never heard mention of it before; seems like it'd be in the news.
And another small item. Millions of homes are equipped with CO alarms. It's a code requirement. Are they all going off like crazy up and down the coast? Not that I've heard.
Sooooo, count me as dubious.
